Health Careers Program influences students on medical career paths

The Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) Coastal Bend Health Education Center (CBHEC) has introduced a variety of health-related career paths to students across the region. Its Health Careers Program reached more than 1,600 students in 2012 and taught them about medical careers through a mobile medical library, annual conference and three-day summer camp.

COP students donate care bags

Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy students with Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity gathered more than 2,000 items including tooth brushes, toothpaste, shampoos, floss, face towels and razors over the past semester. The students put together 150 care bags that were distributed to Mission 911 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the Kingsville Police Department domestic violence unit and Project SHINE to help those in need.
